We had some very special visitors at the school on Thursday, Inspector Dube, Constable Kuzwayo PLUS Mrs Ann Bonhomme, from the Department of Transport.
Our 2 policemen looked “very cool” so when we asked the children on Monday in assembly what they wanted to be when they grew up, they all said policemen and women!
Ann gave a very animated and practical presentation on ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS and the children listened with great interest to all she had to say and share.
We remain very grateful to our VIP friends who visit the school to educate the children about potentially life-saving subjects.
On a lighter note, Ann warned us to be careful when crossing the road or “you might land up with mashed potaTOES.”
