81 x GRADE R learners

I have one word to start with – WOW!!!

  • Stunning day
  • Super comfortable bus, skilled driver and helpful conductor
  • Delicious, freshly made hot dog lunch

The children had an absolutely wonderful morning.

We arrived at the pools round 08h50 and only left again at 12h45.

They swam, they kicked, they splashed, they dunked under the water holding their breath, they slid down the slide, they jumped into the pools, they paddled in the sea and they ate delicious hot dogs.

It was so encouraging and rewarding watching the child grow in confidence in just a couple of hours – by the end of the day, all I could hear was “Miss Terressa, watch me” and they would show off their newly acquired swimming skills.

What a joy, what a delight, what a responsibility – but worth it all.

THANK YOU to all our donors who made this excursion a reality for the Grade R learners of Makabongwe
