WEDNESDAY 14th FEBRUARY VALENTINE’S DAY AT MAKABONGWE

A DOUBLE CELEBRATION

There was either white, pink or red wherever you looked at Makabongwe on Wednesday 14th February.

The children looked gorgeous –the girls beautiful and the boys extremely handsome.

The excitement started as the children arrived at school all wanting to show off their valentine outfits.

During music we sang lots of LOVE songs like Skinny Mirinky Dinky Dink, Skinny Marinky Do, I LOVE YOU

It’s LOVE, It’s LOVE, It’s LOVE that makes the world go round

The LOVE of Jesus is so wonderful

After play, the children went back to their classrooms for story time and a chance to catch their breath before the next surprise and treat arrived……

NANDO’s treated ALL the children AND staff to a delicious NANDO’s lunch together with a refreshing cool drink.

I have never seen food devoured so quickly and I have never heard the children so quiet.

The NANDO’s lunch box containing a chicken burger and chips was the perfect size to satisfy little tummies and I know the teacher’s all enjoyed their ¼ chicken and chips.

Thank you NANDO’s West Street, Smith Street and Workshop for making Valentine’s Day at Makabongwe such a special one.

We LOVE and appreciate you.

PS thank you to the Nando’s driver and his assistant who collected and delivered the lunch.
