Easter at Makabongwe

The Day the Easter Bunny visited Makabongwe

Somehow the children always sense when something different and exciting is happening at school.

Thanks to the GR R girls of DURBAN GIRLS COLLEGE and the young men of GLENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL, Easter joy was in abundance at school on break up day Friday 18th March.

The children decorated re-cycled 2 litre plastic cool drink bottles with lots of lovely donated oval coloured stickers. The bottles were cut in half, 2 holes punched in either side, a ribbon threaded on for the handle and then filled with delicious eggs.

Here are members of the 1st rugby team of GLENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL handing out the baskets and enjoying an Easter egg hunt with the children. Every child went home with an extra big smile on their face.

Thank you DURBAN GIRLS COLLEGE and GLENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

You make such a difference to the lives of our children.
